Gstaad is one of the largest and most diverse snow sports areas in Switzerland. 53 cable cars and lifts provide access to a total of 220km of pistes in 6 ski areas. Among them is the Glacier 3000 ski area with guaranteed winter fun from November to early May and a breathtaking panoramic view.

Saanerslochgrat-Hornberg – the snow sports area with the sunniest downhill run in Switzerland. 105 kilometres of pistes connect the Saanenmöser mountain pass with the villages of Zweisimmen, St. Stephan and Schönried. A ski area that delights families and aficionados alike with many blue and red pistes as well as the UYN ski movie race course.
Glacier3000 – your all-round glacier ski area with 9 pistes – including the 8 km Red Run, one of the longest pistes in Europe, from 3,000m above sea level down to 1,300m – and spectacular views of the 24 400m altitude peaks.
Night skiing – Lit by floodlights, Wispile and Rinderberg offer skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts’ winter-sport fun into the night.

Snow parks & ski cross

Shred moguls, steep-banked bends, bumps, and dips? Gstaad Mountain Rides offers freestyle and ski cross fun for beginners and pro’s alike – at the Gstaad Snowpark on the Hornberg (with a fun slope) and at the Glacier 3000 Snowpark. The glacier snow park is considered the ideal training spot for pro riders and is open from early November. On the ski cross slope on the Rinderberg in Zweisimmen, even intermediate skiers, young people and children can try a ski cross tour

Hotel service & winter sports equipment

At our reception you will receive your ski pass so that you can start your skiing holiday in Gstaad in comfort. Our hotel ski shuttle takes you free of charge to the ski stations here in Gstaad (Wispile and Eggli). We are also happy to take your children to the ski school with our hotel bus. You can conveniently rent or buy your ski equipment at Edelweiss Sport directly opposite our hotel. And to look good on the slopes, the right sports clothing is of course also available.
